Appearance: Emily is quite a short girl, slightly over five foot. Her weight’s about 110lbs, she’s not exactly a stick insect, but she’s not obese either. Emily’s hair is black, but she’s fond of extensions usually white or blonde but she’s been known to have ones in blue, green, pink etc. One of Emily’s best features are her eyes. They’re very large and dark brown and can often convey a great deal of emotion. Emily’s skin is very smooth and she has a golden complexion. Emily’s attire is very casual usually only wearing shirts with singular colours and simple designs, jeans and sneakers.

Personality: Emily’s mostly a friendly girl. She’s new to town and is filled with curiosity and is new to the culture. She can be very sweet and loving to her friends, and she’s shy around strangers but she’s the worse kind of enemy. Although she can be gentle, she can also be very rough and hard to deal with. She’s very serious about her studies, pays attention in class and is a good student, but she also like to socialise and have fun, which can lead to difficulties with her education.
Likes: Small animals, music, books.
Dislikes: Vegetables, obnoxious people, seafood (her biggest allergy)
Secrets: She’s got ticklish feet (she doesn’t tell anyone because she doesn’t want to risk them being “attacked.”

History: Emily Xan was born in Sheffield, England in 1990. Her parents were from Beijing, but moved to England shortly after Cecilia was born in the mid-80’s. As such, Emily’s always had to com to terms with being “different” her Chinese ethnicity and her rough north-English accent often contrasting. Emily’s father worked as a overseas developer at a loan company, and often took responsibility for business in America. This lead the family to move to The States. Emily’s only been in the US for a month and after slightly adjusting to the new lifestyle has enrolled into Fair Mount High.
Sample Post: Gulping down the last of her Coke, Emily got back to her English homework. Emily was always good at English, back in Sheffield she was the top of her class. But here in America, things were different. She was mostly seen as bright by teachers, but she constantly got mistakes on “old habits”. Using British terms that didn’t apply in American-English, spelling mistakes such as spelling “color” with a “u”. But she was slowly getting better.
Suddenly, a knock came at the door. “Come in!” Emily shouted out. After a second, her big sister Cecilia stepped in the room, with a concerned but still slightly happy face. “Hi sis, you do know, mum’s just called us down for tea. It’s gonna get cold.” Emily looked at Cecilia and smiled. “Stay here and do English homework, or taste mum’s horrible cooking. Hmmm…decisions…decisions.” Emily asked in her trademark fasion, that to strangers seemed to be harsh, but should always be taken with a pinch of salt. “Y’know, if you’re finding this stuff hard, you can ask me.” Cecilia offered. “Tanks” Emily said. “But I’d rather learn my own way.” Ceiclia just sighed. “Okay. Just remember, I offered. And I’ll always be there for you…unless you want me to have some more of mum’s food.” Emily and Cecilia laughed to themselves as they both left the bedroom to go downstairs.
